Chapter 1

Run, run, run, don't look back. Just run, you'll be fine. My paws were pounding at the ground and I realized that I had nothing to be afraid of anymore. DewClan could shift into a new era of strength and no mercy. Silverstar was dead, and it was my turn.
Time to start plotting, I heard in my head. It was my father. Maybe he'd ruined my life, but he gave it back to me. He gave me leadership. I was putty in his claws. Darktail whispered, It is your turn, my son. Finish what I started. Let the soft ones of DewClan rot, and let DeathClan rise....

~One Moon earlier~
"So, what's the plan?" Bloodsplash croaked eagerly. The murmurs of other questions from Crow, Darktail, Hawkscreech, and Yewberry followed. I lashed my tail for silence, glaring at my ancestors. I'd gained their respect. It would be easy, pleasing my clanmates.
