Windkit looked up at her mother with a distant look and still not say a word.


Skyleaf chuckled, "that's good." She purred and stood up. " I'm guess I should leave you alone so you can get some more rest."

Hiddenkit decided to visit his sister along with his mother. "W-Windkit?"

Windkit looked at Hiddenkit with a questionable look.

"No you can stay with me. I dont mind." Nettlefang said to her

Skyleaf nodded and laid back down beside him, still outside the nest so she doesn't disturb him a lot.

"Are you alright?" Hiddenkit asked shakily. He never usually talked to his sinlings much, and now he regretted it horribly.

Squirreltail felt for Windkit, she had been in a similar position before but she was much older. she nuzzled Hiddenkit.

"Will she be okay?" He croaked, eyes wet.

Windkit looked at her paws, her tail laying beside them an she sighed.

Nettlefang purred as she curled up beside him. Nettlefang's fur still felt very warm.

"You're gonna be alright, Windkit. I just know it." Hiddenkit mumbled, determined. "I'm gonna help you get through this. I promise."

"Of course" She mewed. Squirreltail looked over at Emberfur who was drooped in his nest, a solemn look on his face. He knew most of this was his own fault but his mood got to her.

Skyleaf out her nose in his fur, purring slightly. She had a strange feeling in her stomach, almost like butterflies.

Cloudheart chased a rabbit over the border swiftly, her white paws gliding silently as she chased it.

Windkit nodded towards Hiddenkit, hearing his word and gave him a slight smile, her eyes having a little glaze to them.

Ivypelt brushed her tail along Fuzzykit's spine. "You're not a mouse," she mewed.

Sootleaf kept a close eye on Windkit.

Skypaw stalked off.

Nettlefang tried to sleep but kept coughing

Sootleaf pricked her ears at the sound of coughing. Coughing...coughing...ah yes, coltsfoot!

Skyleaf looked at him with a concerned look and sighed. "At least it's not as bad as before..."

Sootleaf grasped her herbs in her jaws and ran toward the sound.

Nettlefang opened his eyes and gasped as if he was out of breath and hot and sweaty

Skyleaf looked at him in alarm and when she saw Sootleaf and gave her a worried look. "Help him please.."

Nettlefang was now standing in his nest instead of laying in it

Sootleaf rested her tail on Nettlefang's shoulder. She then set down her coltsfoot in front of the warrior's paws. "Lie down and eat these," she coaxed.

Windkit saw a moss ball and her ears perked up slightly. She walked towards it and batted at it softly, but not enough to make it go far.
