Fuzzypaw's eyes narrowed as he glared at skypaw from the otherside of camp.

Sootleaf prepared some thyme and poppy seeds. She then prodded Windkit's side.

Ivypelt gave Fuzzypaw a stern look. "You should know better than to behave like a kit."

Windkit blinked her eyes open and looked at Sootleaf with a dreary and terrified look. She didn't speak a word like she usually would, still too terrified.

Nettlefang woke up in the medicine den and started coughing again

Fuzzypaw growled loudly, "tell her that! I never wanted to be a stupid warrior anyway! She has to be the best at everything doesn't she?! oou never listen to me, no one does! nnly wolfbane did and you lot took him away from me too!"

Ivypelt was taken aback by her son's words.

Sootleaf prodded the thyme closer to Windkit. "Take it," she coaxed. "You don't have to tell me anything right now, but these herbs will help you feel better."

Fuzzypaw's pelt spiked up and tears dripped from his eyes, "how am I ever going to fight without claws!? Tell me how! Ypu know maybe skypaw is right, maybe I am a mouse!"

Windkit nodded silently and took the medicine before laying her head down.

Nettlefang coughed in his sleep

Skyleaf went to go check on him, seeing him cough she sighed deeply and laid beside him outside of the nest, burying her nose in his fur. In the past times that they've been hanging out together, Skyleaf has developed a weird bond with him, and him being sick scared her, thinking that she was gonna lose him..

Feeling someone lay beside him, Nettlefang stirred and blinked open his eyes. He had been asleep so his eyes were bleary from being tired. "Hi." Nettlefang whispered to Skyleaf.

Skyleaf blinked up at him and smiled slightly. "Hi." She whispered back.

Nettlefang yawned and asked, "what have I missed?"

Squirreltail watched Windkit silently from afar. Range would die for this.

Emberfur watched Hiddenkit from his nest, wondering how his other kits were reacting to this.

Range snarled in anger. His plan was skewed up and almost impossible, but he would die trying.

After Windkit laid there for a little bit she sighed and sat up, stretching stiffly and walking out of the medicine den without a word. It seemed like Nettlefang and Skyleaf needed some time to them selves. She padded across the camp, not saying a word and sat down on the far edge, her wounds still visible from afar. She has gone through a lot for a kit as small as her.


Skyleaf shook her head. "Nothing really. Not a lot has happened."

Nettlefang coughed and said "I've missed you."

Dawnpaw padded out of the apprentices' den and looked around. She was bored and wanted to do something.

Skyleaf chuckled and purred, "I missed you too. Feeling any better?"

Larkpaw watched Windkit with a sad look.

Squirreltail watched her kit, deciding whether she should leave her be or comfort her. She stood and started towards her.

"Some, I guess." Nettlefang said
