Hawkfire limped to the camp, and collapsed in the middle of the camp. "Ow..." Blood seeping from his pelt. "F-fox..." He breathed.

Emberfur wailed and thrashed around, "I'm uncatchable!!!" He purred, pawing his daughter

Squirreltail sat consumed in thought. Would her kits grow to be better warriors than she was? She'd hope they did. Everything she did was a mistake. Meeting Range was a mistake. Befriending the backstabber was a mistake. Emberfur still hadn't told her what he'd agreed to and it bothered her deeply.

((Is he going to die, Hawkfire?))

Windkit giggled more then she noticed Hawkfire limp back into camp and collapse. She gasped, "Mother, what happened to him?" and with that, raced over to him, sniffing him everywhere with a curious little sniff.

Squirreltail sat up and began to speak before watching Windkit race off. She padded after her and noticed Hawkfire. "Oh dear.." She mewed.

Emberfur rolled back over and watched his mate and kit run off. He sighed, there was no sense and running after them only to get a biting remark from Squirreltail.

Skyleaf huffed and wadded a little bit deeper into the water, getting her cheek fur wet.


Windkit sniffed him all over before looking around. "He needs the medicine cat!" She said seriously.

Nettlefang sighed before following her. The water fell pretty good after getting use to it

Hawkfire breathed, "A fox named Ash is coming..." He winced.

Cloudberry yawned, waking up.

Windkit started licking Hawkfire's head in a soothing way, not playing around anymore. Hearing about the fox made her pelt bristle up, scaring her a bit but she didn't show it.

Skyleaf got to where her paws wouldn't touch the ground anymore. She almost went under until she started loving her legs and paws, making her skin through the water. Her fur was kinda dragging her down a bit, but that just made her move her legs faster.

"Ill kill him. Its 1 fox. He will die."

Nettlefang waded out into deeper waters so that he couldn't touch the bottom any more. He began treading water to keep his head above the water. "I don't kno how much longer we should stay out here." He told her. He could sense trouble back at the camp. "We still have to gather the prey we had caught earlier." He then reminded her

Squirreltail watched as her daughter soothed Hawkfire ((ahh i remember 2012-13 with you lmao))
and wondered what she would grow up to be. She had the gentleness of a medicine cat but the ferocity of a warrior.

Emberfur's fur stood up when the fox was mentioned. He had only just pretended to be one with Windkit. He was reminded once again of the terror's of the forest.

Skyleaf nodded. "I agree, let's go." She mewed quickly, tryoung to keep enough water out of her mouth as possible.

Windkit turned to her father, seeing the worried expression and moved towards him after giving Hawkfire one more lick on the head. She padded over to her father and rubbed against his leg, looking up at him. "Is that fox going to get anywhere near the camp?" She asked, giving him a scared look quickly before erasing it off her face, trying not to her fear.

Scourge wandered the edge of the river.

Emberfur felt the warmth against his leg and composed himself before looking down. "No baby, we'll keep it away" He purred, nuzzling her.

Squirreltail searched for the medicine cat((idk if he knows already/is there so)) to assist Hawkfire. The thought of a fox anywhere near her children terrified her.

"Promise?" Windkit asked again, nuzzling back.

Her right eye catch the sight of a swimming fish.
