Star stopped and laid down on a large but stable tree branch. He sighed.

Shadow had tracked down the deer and killed it.
(Not going into detail on the killing)

Nightmare sat down.


Crow pulled Midnight to the side, anger in eyes. "Don't gst around that bly at times like those. He could kill you. "

Midnight narrowed her eyes. "You could, too!"

"You're my sister."

"Soi you think I don't mean anything to him?!" She snarled, her eyes blaring red instantly. She jerked her arm from his hand and backed away. He reached for her and she snarled, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Her voice was slightly a howling-bark instead of words. Her heels rose from her shoes into the knees of a wolf and her hands became paws and she ran off, bolting into wolf form.

Shadow's ear twitched as he heard somebody running nearby. He growled hoping they weren't coming to steal his food

Midnight zipped past trees and skidded beside one with a hollow. She curled up and laid there with a whimper.

Shadow heard a faint whimper and went to investigate.

Midnight watched outside. She hoped Crow wouldn't find her.

Shadow got the scent of a female werewolf and followed it as it led toward the whimper he heard

Midnight heard rustling. Still in wolf form she stood, sapphire eyes scanning the trees.

Shadow stopped as he got closer and looked to see if he could see her.

Kage sat down

She saw him. She let out a growl just from instinct not knowing who it was. She thought maybe it was her brother.

Shadow heard the growl and growled back

She morphed into a human and called, "Whose there?!"

Sky went outside and shifted- She had tended to remain in wolf form when she could for whatever reason.

"I could ask the same thing!" said Shadow

She sighed obviously with relief. It wasn't her brother. Surely he was from the pack but she had horrible memory. "Midnight. My name is Midnight. "

"I'm Shadow." he said.

"Well, Shadow, nice to meet ya." She muttered unenthusiasticallly, as usual.

"Nice to meet you too." said Shadow.

Midnight's eyes, still dilated, were cautious.

Shadow got closer to her.

She tensed, fingernails lengthened a little.

"No need to be tense." said Shadow
