Chpter 1
Gustykit ran around the clan, a big mischivious grin on her face, she jumped up in the air trying to catch a butterfly before running back to her mother, goldenfur, who was a brown and golden tabby with gustykit's seaweed green eyes, they were shining beautifully in the yellow sunlight, shimmering brightly in the morning light. Goldenfur purred and licked the mud stain off her kits head softly; gustykit smiled. glancing over her daughter's shoulder, goldenfur saw blackheart, gustykits father and her loving smile slowly faded into a frown, "come here gustykit." Protectively she curled her tail round the kits brown paws and pulled her close. immediatelty, gustykit  knew what was wrong, her pelt tingled with anxiety as her father wandered over his steps huge and thundering.
"goldenfur!" Windstar's voice came from the warriors den where he was talking to, redwillow, heartskip and fawnpelt.
"yes windstar?"
"i need you to go on patrol with these warriors to the leafclan border.
Nervously the queen glanced over at her daughter and her 'mate' the two looked so much alike, with the same muddy pelts, "but-"
"ill look after gustykit." The devils voice probaly sounded like that, firm and low, the small kits eyes diverted to the ground and she sat there silently trying not to shivver.
Goldenfur growled quietly and flashed him a glare as cold as ice, telling him to behave and not to let anything happen to her, and even though she was reluctantly to leave, she still listened to her leader and left on patrol eager to get it over with.
Blackheart licked gustykit's head and she flinched, terror shone in her face as she lifted her head to gaze upon her dad, he smirked half charmingly as if to lure her to the darkside and half intimidating.
"daddy?...."
"go get me some prey."
"but-"
"Now!"
