They didn't even get the honor of having a shown death, they killed them off panel between the Last Battle and this book. It really really pissed me off. Those two were my favorite she-cats and I wanted one of them to get with Lionblaze......
Instead Cinderheart is STILL alive and his mate. Why bring her back to be a queen? She was supposed to be a warrior.
I think this was worse than when Firestar died and Bramble didn't.

The only good pairing now is BumbleXDove.
