Borage Leaves

Looks:
Small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves- these are borage's distinguishable parts.

Uses:
Borage is to be chewed and eaten. It increases a nursing queen's milk supply and brings down fever.

Burdock Root

Looks:
A tall-stemmed, sharp-smelling thistle with dark leaves.

Uses:
Dig up the roots, clean them, then chew them into a pulp. Apply to rat bites to cure infection.

Catmint/catnip

Looks:
Very leafy plant with purplish tube-like flowers.

Uses:
This is the best remedy for greencough.

Chervil

Looks:
Large, spreading fern-like leaves. Small white flowers grow on this plant.

Uses:
The leaves' juice can cure infections.  Chewing the roots helps with bellyache.

Coltsfoot

Looks:
Looks a bit like a dandelion, only with yellow or white flowers.

Uses:
Leaves can be chewed up and eaten to help with shortness of breath.
