Lightningstrike snuck out towards yewberry's place to give his report

Weatherpaw saw the tom and narrowed her eyes but was silent. She watched Bloodpaw and the medicine cat argue.

Lightning strike went up to yewberry and gave his report, he was absolutely calm and outspoken "dewclan prey is running low, one of the apprentices is dying-no it is not gustypaw." He added as her eyes lit up,

"How's it dying?"

"Scratched eyes, uh it's losing too much blood, not sure what done it though gustypaw seems to have gone silent but I know she didn't do it, she couldn't do something like that." He paused "but she wants to make you pay for what you did to solar, whoever he is, and she vows to avenge him." (

"Very well. You've done good. I need to know who killed that apprentice. I need them as an ally."

"Ok," he turned ready to walk off and heard gustypaw calling for him, he raced off to find her.
"Lightningstrike!' She said, "i was just looking for you-" she cut off smelling the poisoned souls on him

Windpaw had stopped breathing. Bloodpaw felt like his own heart had stopped.

GUstypaw growled "why do you smell of poisoned souls?"
He smiled crookedly, "oh gustypaw your mind must be playing tricks on you let me push it back into place," he knocked her over the head and she collapsed, passed out, he wiped his scent of her and left her there to die

He shrugged and walked off, gustypaw lay on the floor, she got up not remembering a thing, "hi weather paw."

"Are you okay?" She glared at Lightningstrike.

"Yeah, my head hurts a bit."

She stopped dead blood covered her paw, she shrugged and smiled at weather paw
