"My mother favors Hawkpaw, and what is an apprentice supposed to do? I'm not a warrior yet. Not for four moons."

"But if you die then that's one less cat to defend the clan."

"Bloodsplash defended the Clan. But he was killed. Why cant I?

"Bloodsplash broke the warrior code."

"Did that stop him from fighting?"

Goldenpaw edged back

"Nothing stopped him from fighting."

Goldenpaw began going through one of her gasping for breath fits, it happened now days ever since she hit her spine

Darkoaw just watched coldly.
