Riverthorn went off to the warrior's den.

Scorchflame shuffled his paws. Why was it so hard to speak to her? "Nice fighting back there."

" wasn't in the mood for it......its just annoying."

"Do you think he'll come back?"

"No." She said smiling, "hopefully."

"He'd better not," Scorchflame growled.

She nodded

"Goodnight," he meowed to no cat in particular.

Bloodstar got his daughter's corpse and buried her himself. He mumbled the words of NightClan's Anthem. "We shall live forevermore. We are NightClan warriors. Strength and courage in our blood. Justice until life is done. " He gulped, holding back tears. He mustn't show weakness while paying respect. "Honor in posterity. NightClan means strength and unity...!"


After burying his kit, he murmured, "Rest well, my wayward daughter, for you mustn't need to shed a tear or shake with a sob any longer." And with that, he left a waterlily from the riverbank right there on her grave.

Moonriver smiled, watching from the trees. Maybe he isn't a tyrant after all, the elderly she-cat thought.
