Those words were a death sentence, only worse. I couldnt believe I was being...a.why me?! I tried to stand but was pushed back down again, I glanced at the older mdont beside me,  Jason was staring up at the king biting his tongue ttheo stop retorts flying out of his mouth.
Pythagoras was looking shocked terror sparkling into his blue eyes his skin was fading from a pale white into an unhealthy green, Hercules was as red as ever his brown eyes were glaring back at me, he was a coward not like the stories you learn at school. The fat man had a belly which he tried to cover up with layers of lewther armour but it was pretty clear that he was fat.
"you will stay in the prison cells for two weeks and if you survive-youll be freed." The king said.
"my'lord," Jason spoke, "what about the girl surely the child cannot be exspected to-"
"she has proved herself worthy of breaking the law, therefore she can go with you."
"but sire-"
I looked at jason quickly and gave him a glare like lightning bolts, my black hair tucked behind my ear "Shut up jason. Just accept the punishment and maybe we'll live.
The queen looked down on me with her snake like face and thin lips, she had hair the colour of ale and matching cocabean eyes, she was aging in her cheek bones which were poking through her skin, "listen to the child jason she is advising you wisely."
The guards hoisted me to my feet holding my hands behind my back forcefully, I tried to pry away however his grip was tight, they hauled us from the room and threw me into a cart where I passed out almost instantly
Hercules, jason and pythagoras were forced to walk along hands wrapped in thick rope, "i told you she was bad news why did you hit the prince of athens?" Hercules asked darkly voice prickling with a sense of regret.
"he was laying his hands on that poor girl, its clear she needed food." jason awnsered "so after he threatened us...me and Pythagoras took her home and you were sleeping so..."
"i had no part in your stupid law breaking schme." Hercules declared, "who do you think that girl is?"
It was pythagoras that spoke, big eyes gleaming "she seems nothing more than a street rat. Once we learn of her name maybe well reconize her. But for now let her sleep." slowly they trudged across the dessert, leaving the beatiful city of atlantis behind them.

I awoke to a banging, my head was stinging badly and I had blood pumping 
furiously  in my ears, I hopped out of the cart and was relived when the ropes were untied, I looked at Jason who seemed to be very cautiousd about the prison, "i dont think this is a good place for children, what is your name anyway?"
"gusty." I said quietly and scooted over behind jason holding my knife tightly in my fist ready to stab anyone who came at me

"You are the youngest person ever to be here." A guard reminded me skeptically, "i doubt youll survive long, well off you go," I was pushed through the door anafterwardclamped shut behind me.
"We wont let any harm come to her," jason vowed loud enough for the guard to hear.
SUddenly, my knife was torn away from me through the bars I glared at him, "i want that back when i get out." I said.
Wandering down the halfway I received shoves, comments and other things. But i was already regretting letting them take my knife when a bold man walked straight in front of me, "exscuse me." I said politely even though i knew i could just as well slip between his legs however, just by looking at his bare chest scarred with a series of different looking claws I could tell he wasn't a man to be toyed about with.
"What do we have here?" he chuckled to himself.
"Leave her alone." Jason said taking a step forward.
"Get them." Around us about six men ran at jason, hercules and pythagoras were slammed against the wall, i stared back at the man, "look, i dont want trouble, so how about you let my friends go, and move aside?"
He laughed and grabbed my wrist lifting me off the ground, I looked into his face, he had brown skin and matching eyes, he had a scar trailing down from his right ear to the left cheek, "get off!" I tried to kick him and one blow reached his.....(cough you get it) but he didnt let go.
"So small. But so strong spirited. They call me Damian, you know why?" i decided to stay truthful but cheeky at the same time, if that was possible, "because you are the ugly devil of this place.."
"Thats near enough what did you get named?"
"I got named put me down or die!" I spat trying to wriggle from his now tightening grip i was angry now and ready to punch anyone no matter if it would suffer afterward.
"Or die eh?" He threw me down and picked me straight back up again hand on my throat, over the noise of his evil crackling, i heard hercules yell "no!," which supprised me because i always believed he hated me, i guess that was not the case.
"You have a long name. Pity you'll have a short life." Damian replied.
I rasped for breath airline failing, I reached up and grabbed the mans hand prising the m off my throat for a few short seconds, the scarred man blinked shocked, as i forced him off me
"Wow." Pythagaros muttered, "how can you-"
I stumblrd collapsing and soon i was picked up again and thrown over damians shoulder, "come on." He said to his followers and they each pushed my friends to the ground and sprinted after us

I kicked furiosly, but truely my breaths and movments were weak, I prayed to the gods that guards would come and rescue me but, I knew that would not happen. 
"let go of me!" I yelled at the bald guy hitting him with my fists, hoping to crush his skull, which unless I suddenly got super powers I knew it would not work. We passed many people. One who im forever thankful to, he did not help me as such but he tried to and showed he cared, he had a beard that was white and matching hair, "hey leave her alone!" He told damian grabbing his shoulder.
Damian swung around and punched him breaking the mans jaw, I gasped and flinched in his grip trying to squirm away, "JASON!" i screamed, "HERCULES?!" before i could finish a hand was thrown across my mouth.
"quiet!" Damian told me and i bit his fingers hard, I looked down at his belt and saw a knife, I quickly reached down towards it, and tugged. It came out a
Suddenly, i was thrown back down to the floor, the knife was in my hand, I groaned pain sparkling up my spine.
My captor knelt down so we were eye to eye and grabbed my wrist, trying to
 unarm me but Iknew better than to let go so eeasily, only when I felt intense agony did I have to let my finger tips slip away from the silver somewhat beautiful blade that glowed like the moon light.
He raised it and stuck however i managed to roll through his legs, I kicked him in the back hard with my shoe he nearly grunted and grabbed me by the 
ankle; I cried out in shock and then I couldn't breathe, the tip of the dagger came into contact with my bottom rib I forgot how to breathe, and only gasped in pain unable to do much more than wimper as the darkness consumed me.

Meanwhilre in the palace the princess ariadne was watching her father and stepmother intently she sensed tention between them and decided to break the
Silence, "how was your day father?"
King minos looked up, "it was challanging i have to say, the decisions that had to be made in the court room today....i didn't want to do what I did."
"i dont think you were harsh enough." said pasiphae digging into her food timidly, "you should've sentenced the men to at least a longer time, if not death and make the child work for us personally for a month."
"i could not sentence them to death surely you know that..."
"the boy, jason dare lay his hands on a prince." she replied curtly.
"yes. But he got what he deserved and that is all im worried about the child's safety. I know i said if she is old enough to steal then she is old enough to face punishments. But she was weak. She probally had nothing else to do. Ill make sure i visit the cells by the end of the first week."
