Redblood led the way to the group's territory.


Shadowstar nodded. "The clan could use some more cats. Especially younger ones."

"Maybe some kits in time. Maybe Blackwidow will have a new litter soon."

"I hope so. But maybe somebody else will have kits first." said Shadowstar, smirking.


Redblood nodded. "I'm sure."

She merely chuckled.

Thornwhisker couldn't make out what they were saying.

"Irisfeather I..... I love you." said Shadowstar, nervously looking around to make sure nobody heard.



Redblood crossed into the rogue's territory.(To that thread, Ivy )

She smiled to Shadowstar.

Shadowstar smiled back and twined their tails.

Ivypelt watched them from the secrecy of the bushes and fought back tears.

Ivypelt hared back to the camp. She had thought Shadowstar had loved her. What a fool she'd been.

Silvernight saw Ivypelt run in and looked at her. "What's wrong?"

Irisfeather felt guilty. Poor Blackwidow knew about the kits, and it probably broke her heart. (Fun fact- Bloodstar was so angry about losong blackwidow because he had a crush on her *wiggles eyebrows*)

Ivypelt ducked away from Silvernight's questioning gaze. "Nothing," she sobbed. "Leave me alone."

Shadowstar pressed against her. "I.... don't think I can break Blackwidow's heart by cheating though. I have feelings for her still."

Ivypelt dashed into her den and forced herself to sleep.

Irisfeather murmured, "You have to choose someway. And even then you even have Heatherflight."

Ivypelt's paws twitched in her sleep.

(Iris is never dying but in a few months irl she might be an elder. Maybe not fom age because I would never sleep again but maybe from...a brolen leg that never healed properly...Nah, she'll go deaf.)
"They'll..be safe." She let out a sigh. "It'll be alright." Though she was very good with kits and would raise every kit in the Clan, she really never wanted to be a kitting mother. Maybe an adoptive one.
