My cat Elvis has gone missing. I haven't seen him since Sunday night. He isn't usually away from home for this long. I'm worried for him. The more I think about it, the more it makes me think back to some of the earliest memories that I have with him. He has been part of my family for 8 years. I remember finding him after hurricane Dennis. I remember when he could fit in the palm of my hand. I remember my dad having to travel with him from Alabama to Tennessee, with Elvis screaming the whole way. I remember him always being here for me when I got sick. I remember him being my shoulder to cry on when my grandfather passed away. Elvis may have been mean at some points, and he was annoying sometimes too. But I love him, and I'll always be attached to him. Even though I have Copper now, what Elvis means to me is different because he was the first cat who I've ever owned, and raised him from his kitten hood to the cat he is today. I miss him. I want to be able to think that he'll come back, but the longer it's been, the chances decrease. I can't help but thinking that I've lost one of my feline family members.

Some of you knew about this already, but I wanted to say something in case you see me all upset in the chatbox or something like that. I have been crying a lot, on and off. Elvis being gone is practically killing me. This has been really hard on me. It's hard for me to hold all my feelings in while at school, and sometimes I feel like I'm about to lose it. Yesterday after getting home I pretty much did lose it. I cried for at least an hour and a half. The night before last I barely slept any because of Elvis. I cried for at least two yours that night. I've hardly felt like doing much of anything lately. In fact, I haven't really even eaten anything in a couple of days now. I feel hungry, but I don't feel like eating anything. I haven't really felt this way since my grandfather died in December 2011.

I know how it feels to lose pets. I stayed up for you that one night and I'll do it again if you want me to.

I've never really lost a pet before. Not one that I was really close to,anyways.

That might be why I have a headache right now, I'm not sure.
