Rabbitfang yawned and went off to the warrior's den

Bluepool collided with the Earth and flame rippled around her and turned into smoke immediately. Cometblaze stood before her. There was no loving gaze like in their first battle when they were apprentices. He had a cuel steady glare.

Shdowstar heard the noise and went back investigate. He noticed the two winged cats and growled softly but stayed hidden

Bluepool cowered in fear, her wing ruffled and twisted. Cometblaze had smoke rolling from his jaws and blue fire sparked around his wings and paws. His eyes were fiery with fury.

Cometblaze roared and Bluepool shot out from under him into a corner where was the only place she could go. Cometblaze's pelt was no lonver fur but rimmed smoke and fire, his wings rippling blinding blue flames.

Shadowstar growled and tackled Cometblaze. "You should never treat a she-cat like that!" he hissed.

"She brke my heart! We had three miscarriages and she didnt grieve and when Bloodstar recruited her, she left me!" He roared. "I was hit by lightning after I went on a rampage!" Cometblaze's eyes watered but were sharply ablaze.

Shadowstar growled. "It's not her fault she had miscarriages."

"She didnt even want kits! She probably would have abandoned them if I weren't there!"

"If she didn't want kits then we did you have her carry them?" he narrowed his eyes. "I had many mates but I never forced one to have kits."

"She lied to me! I didn't force her to do anything!" He glared at Bluepool. "The sick piece of crowfood didn't even grieve for them...kits!"

Shadowstar growled. "Could you blame her? Her father is the most evil cat around, she's probably afraid her kits would end up like him."

Cometblaze only smirked. "But dear Angelwings was the sweetest cat, hm? I heard she murdered Bloodtalon's kit." He raised his chin. "If my kits were alive she might have murdered them. I still had high hopes for them."

Shadowstar unsheathed his claws. "Angelwings changed...... for me. You better flee while those wings are still good!" he snarled.

"And what about the feathered rat?" He snarled, glaring at Bluepool. He stretched his wings which were still aflame and longer than a fox on each side. He rolled his shoulders, and it was clear why Bluepool once loved him, and a wonder why she left him. He whipped around and stood muzzk to muzzle with Bluepool. He murmured, "Gonna go back to DewClan? Huh?" He talked to her like he was talking to a kit. "Are you gonna go swim in the river, feather-face? With Bloodstar?" She roared and went to swipe her claws across his face which would blind him but he clamped his jaws down on her paw and twisted. She howled in utter agony and he heard a snap. He kept twisting. His jaws were completely past bone, threatening to tear her paw away.
