Adderkit and Shinekit talked some, then Adderkit looked over her shoulder. "I better head back," she said.
Shinekit nodded. "Me too." He thought a minute. "I got it! Meet me back here again at moon-high?"
She nodded. "Alright."
They both found their way back to their own clans

Gustyfoot went back to bloodstar

Lakeskew was still asleep in the leader's den, on the opposite side of the huge den as Bloodstar, who stood and walked to the entrance.

Gustyfoot went up to him "cpuld we talk?"

Bloodstar nodded, sharp amber eyes half-closed and dull with drowsiness.

Gustyfoot grabbed his fur and jerked him forward "I dont care whether your my leader. You need to show respect and love to your mate!"

Bloodstar snarled. His eyes weren't cruel, but tearful. "She's only my mate because I can't suffer being alone. He isnt for me to love. That was only Dragonfly's place." He murmured and a tear dropped from his amber eyes.

"You are cruel. She truely loves you. Your deludibg her brain with lies!"

"Those kits are mistakes. For all I know," he started in a irritated chuckle. "They're probably just some WaterClan warrior's." His eyes gleamed. "I didnt even pick her. She followed me around like a lost rabbit." His tail lashed. "I don't love her."

"Well ypi've got tp tell her. What good is a leader whp cant stand alone?!"

"One who cannot stand silence after dead parents, a dead sister, and three other mates!" He roared. Bloodtalon was showing through.

Gustyfoot fell back "no. Bloodtalpn?!?!"

It seemed as if Bloodstar's blue pelt kept ahifting from blue to a snowy white, his dark blue mark shifting into a scar and back, and his eyes less piercing. His eyes sharpened again and he was normal. "There is something you dont know." He narrowed his eyes.

She growled "ive lost my mother to my father, been tourtpired have my two best friends die and get torn away from my family by you. Ypu knew how much that would hurt me. Yet you still did it! And I can stand alone after all that!"

He tipped his head to the side. "But are you insane...?" He mewed blankly. "Bloodtalon," he let out a little chuckle, "Or me, rather, couldn't stand silence. Because of our heartbeat. He could hear his own heartbeat. And with that, shrieks. And then nothing. That's what drove us mad. With that death, he fell into an endless thunderstorm. Thunder clapping every split second." He snarled, eyes narrowing. "I am not insane, though I must live on with the silence he fears unless I have a mate..."

Greystorm sighed in his corner, flexing his claws. He knew not to gilet in between Gustyfoot's an Bloodstar's fights.

Lakeskew had woken and listened to them on the other wall. Suddenly she had a sharp pain in her stomach. She squalled out in pain and Bloodstar whipped around and saw Lakeskew. She was kitting. Bloodstar kept in a hiss of frustration.

Greystorm raced over and sat behind her, giving her a stick. "Where is the medicine cat?!?" He called.
