Nightmare stalked through the woods, fur dark and eyes red and ablaze. His hunger was growing, but he dared not go into the city like this. As his hunger boiled over, so did his temper. He morphed back into the handsome fourteen year old human form of his and slammed his fist into a tree. The tree fell, and his knuckles bled.

Midnight wandered around thetown. She had started craving blood as she reached er thirteenth year as a wolf, and now her sapphire-like eyes were velvety. She, as a telepathic werewolf, not a standard, could control this thirst, but not as young as she was. She saw a few people walking through the alleyways and set off on her pursuit for food.
