Shadowstar stared into her eyes for a minute. "Moonbeam..... you know why I have so many mates? It's because of a void in my heart I try to fill! Because I can't have the one she-cat I love..... YOU!"

She purred. "What will happen to the others?"

"I'll break up with them. I'll still visit the kits though." he said. "They need their father."

"I know." She licked under his chin.

Shadowstar purred. "Can we have kits of our own?"

"Sure!" She purred, twining their tails together.

Shadowstar purred and pressed against her.

She wheezed. "Your squishing me though."

"Sorry!" Shadowstar got off her and licked her nose. "Let's go to our den."

She chuckled and stood up, shacking the dirt and leaves out of her black fur. "Okay." She mewed and walked towards Shadowstar's den, her tail waving in the air.

Shadowstar licked her ear then led her into the den

She walked in and lay down in the nest, rolling over onto her back again.
